DMX Pleads Guilty

DMX, aka Earl Simmons, has pleaded guilty to charges that he attempted to purchase drugs in Miami. He was sentenced to time served. He's been in Miami Dade County jail since he was arrested in July.

DMX was arrested after attempting to purchase drugs from an undercover agent. Next up, he'll be extradited to Arizona where he'll face charges stemming from an arrest there.

DMX' attorney, Bradford Cohen, thought the deal Simmons took wasn't that great.

"He got shafted on this one," said Cohen.
